REMOVE TOOL NOT RORKING PRPERLY

Version of the app: PHOTOSHOP BETA 25.1.0

Platform and OS version: Mac OS Ventura13.5.1   |   Mac Book Pro Intel 8 Core i9

GRAPHICS: AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB  Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

      MEMORY: 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4

Basic steps to reproduce the problem:

Using the Remove Tool as I have normally in previous beta versions.

BUT as I brush over an area it leaves a pink line trail as it should but the trail

may either stay there with no change in the underlying image. The pink just stays there.

Or It leaves a black line trail with white lines embedded inside of the trail.

I have attached an example of the Remove Tool results I'm getting.

This happens on both 8 bit and 16 bit images.

I will most likely switch back to the previous beta version 25.0

Hi @Monroe244229682ygy

Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:

/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)

/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)
C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings )Win)

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut

With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop beta System Info. Launch Photoshop beta, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
