Question

Resizing image in the Frame replaces it with previous image.

Hi. I am happy to try out the great PS beta. However, when I duplicate the Frame layer and insert a new image within, and if I need to resize the inserted image immediately after clicking any transformation handle, the image changes to what seems to be the previous, not always the last image, inserted beforehand. Nothing helps.

Thank you for sharing the video @peterchambal. What you are seeing is the image you are dragging on top of the layer is being converted to a smart object layer and it is working as expected.

Not quite that, @CShubert.

0:01–0:03 | Im alt-dragging (duplicating) an existing Frame layer with a linked image.

0:07–0:12 | Im dragging an image file from Finder into the duplicated Frame (replacing the linked image with another one).

0:16 | Trying to Free Transform (resize) the new linked image within the Frame. It immediately turns into the previous one.

0:22 | Canceling the Transformation, and the already replaced linked image turns into the correct one, which replaced it.

I did this almost a hundred times in this version of PS beta, and I encountered this unexpected behaviour only twice so far.

Thank you for the clarification @peterchambal appreciate the info.  We will see if we can reproduce, if you have done this workflow 100 times and Ps beta has shown you this error only twice, it is hard to know just what might be happening.

Hi @peterchambal would it be possible for you to share a video or screenshots of your workflow and what you are seeing?
