Selection brush tool has hard edges without anti-aliasing, no matter how soft I set it.

Initially it worked, and then in the middle of a stroke it sharpened with aliasing and it has remained this way. I checked in the settings but nothing had changed.

      I’m updated to the latest version of the Beta, but it still doesn’t look soft like your example on the left, even when I set the brush hardness to 0.

      Hi ​@ABATTINO this is working as expected here. A couple things to try:

       

      1. You said you are on the latest Ps Beta, is it Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.8.0 20260513.m.3540 1a10808  arm64 (beta, PublicBeta) which was released yesterday?
      2. Have you tried to reset your tool?

       

      If you still have the same issue, please share your sysinfo: Go to Help/System information and copy and paste all of it here.

      Hi ​@Abattino curious what you see when you click on the down arrow next to the size of the brush?  You should see this:

       

      If not, make sure to update to the latest Ps Beta: Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.6.0 20260322.m.3475 7f1436f  arm64 (beta, PublicBeta)
