Selection tool and font makes screen move out of control

This is a terrible new addition to Photoshop. When I select something, or try to change my font size or style, the screen begins to zip around. It also has clicked outside of photoshop a few times.

Please fix this, Idk a soul who would want this as a regular feature, it is obnoxious and makes more work.
