sound doesn't sink with video until you start then stop then start again

Question

It's very annoying to have to go through this process in Photoshop, when every other program immediately has sound and video start at the same time. Yoy would think that a premiere program like Photoshop could do what lesser programs do. Every time I start a video I have to start/stop/and start to get sound and video working together. I have the most current version of Photoshop and it was just update a few minutes ago. I'm using Windows 10.

Hi @dstarrmanme could you share your workflow of what you are doing when this happens?

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
