Instead of the button on the top I will use the right mouse button. This must be some problem with the PC system.

Unfortunately, deleting the old settings did not help. The same error is in Photoshop and also in Beta.

Hi @Trevor.Dennis

Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)

C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

Thanks,

The probable cause is the PC version of Photoshop, or the PC system.

Unfortunately, no matter what I select, the button is still inactive. When I went back to the previous version of Photoshop a month ago, the button was active.

FYI it was this screen shot that immediately made it clear what you were talking about.  Screenshots are very often the best way to make it clear what you are asking about. Especially if English is not your first language.  Visual cues are prreferred rather than menus with text that most of us can't read, and don't have a ready translation tool.  (Although Google Translate can do it.)

There's some irony in this thread.  I never use that option as I always convert to a Smart Object and use Transform > Warp and use the Option Bar drop down options, but when I tried it to answer the question I found I could make completely new distortions.   I love the second from top which has a wrap around a cone which has its fat end facing you.  The last one is cool as well and looks like one of those twisted foil streamers.  You need to add a few spaces at the start/end/both for some of them, but it's obvious.

What I have not worked out yet, is applying the distortion to the text and a gradient background. You can do it with transparency if you hit the Warp Icon before commiting the text, but if you combine the type layer to a gradient and SO it, that warp option is predictably no longer available.

@Conrad_C  you've been on a roll lately. Any ideas?

That button is active when the type layer is active.  If you commit the type layer, the button becomes greyed out.

If you double click the type layer to edit it, the button will become active again.

A few versions ago the text bending button was active, now it's not. I have to bend it by reaching the menu. I know I can program the action, but I'd prefer a working button.
