Trying to match skin tones when combining two separate photos of the same person.

Trying to match skin tones when combining two separate photos of the same person.  One photo has a suntan and the other does not have a suntan.  Could you provide me with a "click by click" of how I can create uniformaty of skin tone into one photo?  Thanks.
