Type and text stopped working

Text simply stopped working on Windows 10 Photoshop Beta 24.1.0.

Type tool just gives back a window with the message: "Select font failed during last operation. If problem persists, please disable the font."
Illustrator and "normal" Photoshop works fine on the same computer. Just close PS Beta, open regular PS and it works.

    Hi @LianParma sorry you are seeing this.

     

    Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:

    /Users/yoourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings 

    Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut

    With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

     

    It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
