Will it work for you to apply the Bullet feature and change the bullet type to a dash instead of typing the dash manually?

You mean typing a sentence then stop, use mouse - go over to side menu and find bullet function and click on it ?

That will be silly and take a lot of time..

Photoshop freeze completely once I enter dash and a space before words. I no way can click on anything - even bullet menu. Only option is go Task Mgr and kill the app.

I have this problem too on latest BETA

Type ‘-’ before a word immediately freeze photoshop. Had to kill program and restart all over again.

1. Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

I deleted adobe beta pref in said directory, CLTR+ALT+SHIFT and launched beta - everything back to factory setting and still have same issue, see screenshot.

Hi @Bennet29095575v8z9 we believe we followed your your steps to recreate but did not see a crash.

Do you have the latest beta? Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.6.0 20260412.m.3501 2f62d66 arm64 (beta, PublicBeta)
Do you see the same issue on Ps release version or just Ps Beta?
Please share your sysinfo: Launch Ps Beta, in top menu go to Help/System information and paste the info in your reply.

Hey Cory, thanks for the response.

I do now. On 27.7.0 20260419.m.3511 ba3a9e2 x64 (beta, PublicBeta), this issue seems to be fixed.
On the release version of PS (27.5.0 20260323.r.13 dee573e x64 (final, Release)), this issue does not exist.
