Hello,

Why when selcting a particular object and changing its tranparency using transparency slider to 0% do the color values get deleted?

And how do I retain color values if i want the particular object to be fully transparent?

Transarency slider? Where is that? I know abour Layers opacity slider It cans lape pixels transparent but it does not change the pixels color or delete the pixels wheb the opacity is set to 0.  The pixels still have their color but nou of it shows ine the composit.

I'm not clear what you are saying. PS isn't deleting anything, but of course the color sampling is based on the overal cumulative pixel value at a given position, not a specific layer in the default mode. If you need to change it, set the respective options in the eyedropper tool and possibly create a persistent sample point if you need to keep track of specific values on a fixed position.

It does delete them. If other layers are empty at given spot it still will not have the color one desires. Just try it out yourself with circle in a rectangle - you need a software that disables alpha-blending when viewing the exported picture though.
