19.1.5 update issues with Generate feature

Ever since the latest update to PS 19.1.5 ive experienced continuous performance issues with a feature ive used since it's introduction about 5 years ago.

Image pairs (@2x, @11199216) that once before rendered transparent easily are now rendering with background fills, or capturing whatever is behind the photoshop app and includes where the transarancey should exist in the exported asset.

Export render is extremely slow as well of a sudden and this is happening with PSD from  a 1.2G authoring environment all the way as simple as a 100mb authoring environment even after a computer restart with ample amount of storage, pc and graphics ram, along with processing gpu, and using the same history/ cache settings ive used prior to update. Running Windows 10 v1803

Was wondering if anyone else has experienced export issues using Generate since the most recent PS update.
