23.2.1 Zoom glitch [removed]

I say [removed], it's only the Zoom function. Is anybody else having this?

After flawless performance, the experimental side of things too such as neural filters, I got the new 23.2.1 update and now it's like Photoshop on a Sinclair ZX-81 !!

If I click the Zoom tool + or - then click on a location it seems OK. If I hold Alt (PC) and scroll the mouse wheel my computer groans, my mouse stutters like some kind of buffering. Zooming in using Alt is like Fred Flintston starting his car. Everything lags. I have to wait for the processing to catch up before I do another click.

Don't espeically feel good about the project.

I haven't had much chance to test anything else it was just something I needed in my days work today. Anyone else?
