Thank you for clarrifying that @przone, will happily pass this on to the team to see what might be different between the two that would cause this for you.

The one thing we see is that you have many third party plugins, a test you could try, and we will also, is to install the latest Ps and NOT the third party plugins, does the freeze issue still happen?  Third party plugins tend to create issues since not all customers have the same ones and while we test for as many as possible, this could be why you are seeing the freezing.

Everything fine with the previous version.
Installed new version. Everything broken.
Uninstalled and re-installed previous version - everything working.
Have a think about what that means in terms of your list (failing hardware/damaged OS etc).
It's all damaged for this version - but miracuously fixes itself as soon as you reinstall the previous one?

@przone sorry to hear this.

A system hang or freeze requiring a computer restart usually means a low level failure such as a driver (bad video card driver, etc), failing hardware (hard disk, video card, etc.) or damaged OS installation. 

Have you tried doing a clean install via your CC app?

Close Photoshop
Restart the computer
Use the Adobe Creative Cloud App to uninstall Photoshop
Restart the computer
Install Photoshop via the Creative Cloud App without launching any other programs.
Restart the computer
LaunchPhotoshop
Wait 5 minutes... does the error persist?

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
