32 bit images

In previous versions of Photoshop in ACR when merging several bracket images to HDR you had the choice to save the output to a 32-bit image. Now it is just a 16-bit image. Where has the option to save as a 32-bit image gone with the later versions of Photoshop?

    I have noticed the same problem. I use the merge to HDR Pro feature a lot and it is no longer available. What gives?

    How are you determining that it's 16 bit?
