Anyone else have this problem? Whenever I use diffuse to change a material colour in a 3d mesh it freezes then crashes PS. Thank you

To change colour without removing the texture click on the small folder next to Diffuse. Then choose Edit Texture. This will open a psb file with the flattened texture. You can now add layers with your colour changes and close and save the psb which will incorporate the changes in your main document.

Hi

It is a known bug. To get around it, don't use the material filter at the top of the 3D panel. Instead click directly on the material in the panel and adjust the properties.

Thanks for the fix. Followed your advice and can now change the colors. Although I also had to remove the texture to see the color change. Thanks

Hi

What version of Photoshop are you using, just tested with version 20.0.7 and no issues changing the colour
