Photoshop is smart enough to display an MPO file as an anaglyph image. Photoshop seems to know how, with an MPO file, to take the left image and make it all red and then make the right image all cyan.and show them as one image. why can't I tell Photoshop to just show the left and right images side by side as one image?

MPO [Multi-Picture Object] is a fake standard so you should use whatever software made the file... other software can open MPO files but you tend to get errors pulling the images apart

Yes, I know what an MPO file is and I use it all the time from my W3 3D
camera with a program called "Stereo Photo Maker".. My Problem is when I
load the 3D .NPO file into Photoshop, Photoshop presents it as an anaglyph
image. I want Photoshop to present it as a left / right side, by side
image so I can work on one side or the other in Photoshop. Now I have to
load the .NPO file into Stereo Photo Maker, save it as two side by side
images and then load the two images into Photoshop (a real pain in the
neck!) Photoshop will save two side by side (L/R) images as an .NPO file
-- why can't Photoshop display the .NPO fies as the two L/R images????
