3d photoshop isn't working/ artboard also isn't working

When I attempted to contact adobe and explain my problem they ended the conversation after the version I told them? I wanted to create a cool simple 3d object in adobe photoshop. When the extrusion didn't work the way it should have I created a new file so I could start over. The new file didn't have the artboard show up so I created another artbook and that did nothing. I figured since it was in the 3d workspace I would change it back to its original workspace to make sure it worked and at first it gave me the gray background now that I tried again and it's all black. Maybe this is an easy fix? If so are there any tips that could help to fix it?
