6/22/24 Freezing Issue

Question

As of late, I have run into a critical issue. Soon after opening a file, even a new one; Photoshop becomes unresponsive. This means I can't select any tools, save, or even close the window. I HAVE to task manager, end task -- my work never saves. I have never run into such an overbearing issue before, so I don't know where to start with this. I have the latest version, I have never had problems runningg the program, even when working in 4k files. Help?
