800 x 800 image but only pan, tiff, & raw save options

Photoshop cc on Windows 10. I teach graphic design and one student can only see large file saving options no matter which computer he logs in to. The image is only 800 by 800. Another student would log into the same computer and it is fine. Any ideas?

    Check (under Image > Mode) whether the image is 16Bit or more, if so change it to 8Bit if you want to save it as a JPG.

    Look at their image size. A common cause is asking for 800 x 800 inches rather than 800 x 800 pixels.
