Question

A persistent "conflict" is preventing me from updating to PS 23.3.

This is the first time I've had any kind of issue with a Creative Suite update. Photoshop is not updating automatically and yesterday when I opened a jpeg and made a layered psd out of it so I could alter it, Photoshop refused to save the psd file. When I saved it as a jpeg, no problem. But now I'm getting this "conflict" message without any explanation as to what it is (see the attached video).

What's the smart play here?

Actually, it's even simpler than that. I thought "- Adobe Photoshop 2022" was a signature to let me know I was updating the right thing. Once I realized it was telling me to quit the program before updating, everything was fine. Except for my own lingering embarassment, of course. Duh. 😉
