A stable, Win7 compatible ABR previewer (Or ABRviewer crash fix)?
So, I've gotten into making photoshop brushes. I've dabbled, gotten confidant with it and am about to go all in. However, in the process of doing so I started looking for things that could be useful to my workflow so I'm starting out on the right foot and, honestly, an ABR previewer would one of those useful things.
However, the one I keep finding information about, ABRViewer, it's crashing every five minutes on me. I can't figure out why it's crashing (Error literally states the crash cause as "stopped working" with no other useful info), nothing else on my system is giving any trouble and ABRviewer just seems to go "YUP! I'm done!" after a couple of operations. If someone knows how to fix it without having to go too in depth into the code, I'm open to that as well. However, primarily I just want to find a program that works and is stable and doesn't require me to mess with coding to make it work, which I would really rather avoid doing because it's a real pain.
Pretty much, what I'm looking for in a nutshell:
>Windows 7 compatible
>Standalone -- Does not need to be portable or light weight, I will gladly trade those for stability.
>Stable -- I get that crashes happen sometimes, but every 5 minutes is too much. Again, I am open to fix options for ABRviewer as well.
>Low cost or free -- I'll drop a few bucks for a good preview program if needed, but I ain't made of money so, lower price tags are a plus.
-Favored but not required:
>The ability to Export preview sets -- This would be a great time saver, but isn't completely required. Just a nice perk.
I know there's been a load of posts asking about ABR previewers and this is just another in that sea of them. But, to be fair, the most frequently suggested program isn't working so well for me so, I figured it couldn't hurt to see if anyone else knows of any good options, or a way to get the most suggested option to play nice. All I keep seeing when search up ABR preview programs is ABRviewer everywhere. There's gotta be other options out there in case the problem I'm having with it can't be fixed.
Thanks in advanced for your time!
