A value popup keep popping up - Photoshop 20.0.5 Windows 10

After updating, almost every time I switch tools, whether it's hotkeys or using the mouse, I get the choose a value popup.

All I'm doing is switching tool like from a path selection too to a brush and now I get this warning:
"A value between 0.00 pixels and 288.00 Pixels is required. Closest value inserted."

Any help would be great this is really annoying and slowing me down.

Hi Adam,

That does not sound good, let's make it right.

Could you please try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and let us know if it helps?

Preferences in Photoshop

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes and actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings

Thank you that seemed to do the trick.

I forgot all about doing that, I remember having to do that 10 years ago, I guess nothing really progresses.

Thanks again

What did you update?

What is your operating system?

What is your exact version of Photoshop (please not "latest")?

Please answer all three questions thanks.
