A3 borderless print options greyed out

I'm tying to print some images onto an inkjet canvas art paper on my Canon IP8750 and the recommendations by the supplier suggest I need to use the 'High resolution Paper' option, however this is greyed out. The option is there if I don't opt for the borderless option but not when I try to use it. Any ideas how to rectify this?

Hi

I just checked the manual for your printer and it states (on page 235)  :

"When Other Fine Art Paper, Envelope, High Resolution Paper or T-Shirt Transfers is selected from the Media Type list on the Main tab, you cannot perform borderless printing".

Borderless printing isn't going to be high quality anyway, something has to grip the paper. If you want quality, you need to print oversize and trim - this is why SRA3 exists.

I know nothing of this specific printer but with some printers you have to actually feed the paper in before some of the options are available for the larger paper sizes.

Also it might not be possible to use the borderless option with larger size papers.

You should post this question on the Canon printer forums too.
