A4 printing too big

I created a new page (white) 29.7cm x 42.0cm, I have then added a few layers of writing and logo etc, however when I come to print it is too big and only a fraction of the page gets printed. Its driving me nuts, where am I going wrong?

A4 is 21 x 29.7 cm. It should also be a document preset under File > New as "International Paper".

Not sure what you want to do but 29.7 cm x 42.0 cm is A3 not A4 so you can't print it unless you have a large format printer.
