Hi Dave, I have just gone through all the steps of editing again, I am using SMART OBJECTS, I have done a noise reduction with Layers and this seems to be the issue , If I do all the work before Noise reduction with Layers I am OK providing I flatten the image and then convert to a Smart Object again,

#This is not what I wish for and find it too hit and miss, and would like any info and help in this

    regards Ben

    Hi

I'm puzzled over your description. Noise reduction with layers can describe many different methods. Are you opening a raw file via ACR as a smart object or are you using the ACR filter (which is slightly different to ACR) on an already open layer/smart object?

Can you show your layer stack in a screenshot please it will help with your description.

    Hi

Can you describe the exact steps you are taking to go into ACR and then to go into Photoshop from ACR. Also the versions of each that you are using.
