Add a batch of texts to a batch of images

Question

I have 10k images and 10k texts (dates to be precise) that have to go on the images always in the same spot. The order doesn't matter but in the end I need 10k images with the 10k different dates, one on each image. Is there a way to do it on Photoshop or using a different program?

Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign all offer different options for "Variables" or "Data Merge".

There are many tutorials, videos etc on the web.

10K is a lot of files, even if small, you may need to work in smaller batches... Photoshop will create a layered PSD as output for each file. Then you would need to use a batch processor/converter script to re-save into the final desired flattened file format from the PSD files.

What is the date format? What is the beginning and ending range? Can you share a copy of the text file? Generally a single spreadsheet file containing all 10K entries would be used for a merge, not 10K separate text files.

Perhaps there is a custom script, existing or yet to be written that would possibly streamline this process.
