Adjustment brush has gone crazy

Win 10. CC up to date. The adjustment brush has started behaving oddly. When painting, the screen breaks up into squares and rectangles in a random way like a jigsaw of the image. Everything else is working perfectly. Ideas?

Check your graphics acceleration settings in teh preferences and check your graphics driver. Update it if necessary and configure it suitably.
