Adobe 5.5 extension manager crashes

Hi, I was kindly given the .zxp plug-in file to be able to automate a Contact Sheet in Photoshop CS5.1 however my adobe extension manager will not open, it just keeps crashing. Is there another way to load plug-ins for photoshop?

What operating system are you using?

If your on a mac you can use the CS5_Optional_Plug-Ins_Manual_Install.dmg from here:

ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/photoshop/mac/cs5/

Hi, I'm on high Sierra. My Mac is a good many years old now, Sierra is
where the updates stopped.
