Adobe CC on Macbook freezes whole CPU after updating to macOS Sierra

I just recently updated my CPU to the newest macOS, and ever since that my Photoshop CC app hasn't been functioning properly. I'm able to open it fine, and use it.. but after about 5-20 minutes (varies each time, and has happened 8 times already today) when doing something in PS my whole entire Macbook will just freeze: I'll get the beach ball, I can't move the trackpad because it becomes stiff like when it's run out of battery, thus I can't force quit or try anything.

Any solutions to this annoying problem? I have the latest PS installed as well.

Thanks!

Try resetting your Photoshop Preferences which you will find under the General Tab in PS preferences.

Thank you, Derek. I will give that a try, and hopefully it will fix this annoying issue! Appreciate the help either way.
