Adobe Photoshop 21.0.3 using all my memory

So i recently downloaded Adobe Photoshop. When i try to use the brush and draw a 2 cm line it takes 2 min for the line appear, when i draw it looks like the program is in slow motion when drawing too. Big lag overall from the program. Increased my ram. update everything and cant seem to find the problem. Please need help, need this for work!

    Happened to me this week 

    this is what I did. 
    are you using a Wacom tablet.? If yes re install the drivers. I ended up re installing photoshop as well. 
    I have 16 meg of ram. 
    works better now. Can you send details about you hardware?

    Hi, i was using my mouse, i noticed that if i decrease the size of the canvas it smoothes things out...... i was using 1920 x 1080 cm and it lags there. but when i use smaller ratio it is smooth and i can work on it .... 

    I have :

    2060 gtx 6 gb, i 7 , 1 tb SSD, 2 tb HDD, 24 gb ram
