Adobe Photoshop Color Picker not working in other apps anymore?

In photoshop, using the color picker tool, I used to be able to press command key and pull the picker on to other screens to select colors.  Is that not an option anymore??  If it is, how do I get it to work with the latest update of CC? Please advise as I am unable to locate???
