Adobe Photoshop prints uncentered, unable to adjust margins
Hello! I have an Epson ET-8550 printer and print from a PC with the latest version of Windows. I print my art through Photoshop and have been able to figure out how to make a satisfying print except for my issue of uncentered prints.
I have done some tests. If I print through Photoshop or Illustrator my margins are larger on the top and left side. If I print through an image viewer on Windows (not an Adobe app), it centers perfectly.
Through Photoshop, I have made sure my printer's settings are for 8.5 x 11" paper (just for test printing to figure this issue out). In photoshop in any drop down menu I can find about paper size I make sure it is set to the same size. I have tried borderless, I have tried manually typing in the paper size as a "custom size paper", among other things, but the margins are not budging. I see in the print preview they are off as well.
It is only off by maybe a millimeter or two, but it is enough that I worry with smaller pieces, if they need to be framed, the difference will show-- especially because I like to draw in a line border on my works.
Any help or advice is much appreciated. I would prefer to figure this out in Photoshop instead of using another application to print instead.
