Adobe Portfolio Andreas Photo Size

I'm trying to create cover photos to use with the Andreas Portfolio template. When I inspect the sample photo it reads dimensions of 692.34 x 450. However, whenever I try to resize my photos to that size they still end up too cropped and even the quality seems to get worse. 

I have these large banners that I was using with the Rose template, but they're too big for the Andreas and I want to easily resize them.

Any help is super appreciated.
