After Camera Raw 13.0 update, Photoshop won't open JPEGs. Reverted back to Camera Raw 12.4 to fix

Curious if anyone else had this problem with the Camera Raw 13.0 update that just happened. Photoshop suddenly wouldn't open any JPEG files no matter what method I used to open them. It would open other file types though. I reverted to an old version of Photoshop which didn't fix it, but noticed Camera Raw had just updated that day so I upgraded Photoshop again and reverted Camera Raw to 12.4 and it fixed the issue. Is this a known bug? I'm on Mac OS 10.13.6, using Photoshop 21.2.4.
