After upgrading to windows 11 photoshop won't reinstall or open

Hey everyone, I just recently upgraded from windows 10 to windows 11. I've had photoshop for awhile now, but after I upgraded to W11 photoshop was missing. Now when I tried to reinstall it, the installer won't launch. I've tried giving it permission from my firewall and i've tried running it as admin, but when i launch the installer, nothing happens. I'm new to windows 11 and have no idea what to do.

Can someone help me?

thank you

Rebekah

Most likely Photoshop is still there and working, it's just a missing shortcut (which you can recreate). Check in the Windows start menu > all apps.

Do you have the Creative Cloud desktop app installed? That's where you do all installs and uninstalls, not from any standalone Photoshop installer. If you do need to reinstall, open the CC desktop app and first uninstall Photoshop from there, then reinstall.

I tried that, but when I click on it, all it does is offer me results from the net on buying it. Then when I click the link, it sends me to the adobe site and says I already have it, so from the site I tryed to redownload it, but when I click on the installer nothing happens, I've given it firewall permissions as well and I've tried running it as admin. just nothing happens. I don't even get an error code.

It's doing it with crative cloud as well. I've also tried getting both Ps and Cc from the windows app store and it says that they are installed but there's no way to them and no way of reinstalling them.

I'm worried that i'f I unstiall everything from the windows uninstaller (because i can't even get into creative cloud!) I will lose all my projects..
