all of a sudden I can't color label images on my sd card.

Question

The way I work is I do a shoot, I edit the images in Bridge and mark the ones I want to keep by labeling them a color, than I download just those images. I have an sd card that has a few shoots on it and the last few I was able to label images because they are still labeled. WTF? (Don't answer, why dont you download all the images and then edit them. )

I get the impression that Lightroom would probably be better suited for your workflow.

Nothing wrong with color labeling, I do that too, but once you start editing your memory card from the computer you're inviting corruption and problems. It's just a matter of time before an entire shoot is corrupt.
