All tools are crosshairs

Hello,

I am using Photoshop CS6 on my Macbook Pro (Sierra).

For some reason, all my tools are showing up as crosshairs, rather than the normal icons.

Caps Lock is not on.

In the cursors preferences- Normal Brush Tip is selected under Painting Cursors, and neither "Show Crosshair in Brush Tip" or "Only Show Crosshair While Painting" are checked. Under Other Cursors, Standard is selected.

This happens regardless of brush size (when relevant), canvas size, or zoom level.

Additionally, if I toggle Caps Lock, the brush changes back to normal, but switches to the crosshairs again as soon as I move my mouse. This also happens if I press Tab to switch the screen mode.

What's going on? How do I fix this?

    Don't worry, no harm done!

I restarted my computer, and the problem seems to have been resolved. Slightly anti-climactic, but I suppose I know what to do if it happens again.

Ooops - sorry about that - don't know why I had missed it - must have had a senior moment
