Animated Gif

Hi there,

I have created an animated gif by saving for web - it loops and works perfectly on my Mac, however my client is adamant it's not working for him. Ive viewed in a browser and it works, Ive attached it as a zipped file even added the original to drop box for download but nothing is working for him. Any ideas???

You will need to be your client's tech support, so start by finding out (as gently as you can, because it is a hard question for many people to answer, and you won't be thanked for it) exactly what app they are using. Certainly, many apps will show a static GIF but not an animation.

Thank you! Turns out my client had re-sized it somehow and lost the animation effect! All sorted now :-)

Hi Louiser,

I understand that you've created a GIF animation that is working for you but not for one of you clients.

Could you please check which version of Photoshop are they using and the operating system they are working on? Chances are that they are not viewing the GIF in Photoshop, so check which application are they viewing the file under?
