Animated Gif... isn't animated :|

Hi, I am making a short animation for a GIF and think I am missing something- when I am saving the GIF (using save for web as I have done in the past) it is just saving a single frame as a non-animated image.

 

I have attached the PSD in case it is something wrong with the method used...

    SOLUTION:

     

    Hi all, so just thought I would post the solution. I realised I had checked the 'transparent' box and when I unticked this the GIF saved perfectly.

    what are the steps used to create the animation (eg, to start, is the animation all on the main timeline and no animated movieclips or graphics are on the main timeline)?

    Thanks for the reply- but sorry i am not sure what your question means! I have attached a screenshot of the timeline and layers window- does this answer your question?

    what adobe program (eg, is that photoshop) are you using?
