Photoshop Latest version has too many issues like,

  1. Annoying floating toolbar, this is decreasing the working speed and creating disturbance while work.
  2. Removing Background feature is not enough good.
  3. The masking feature is also got the bugs, while using the brushes, the surrounded area is getting white and need to refrshed several times.

I've rollback the olderversion.

Please get the above issues resolved asap.

Regards,

Shalendra Chawla

Thanks

Floating bar is annoying because it blinks in and out of existence. It is distracting.
I wish there was an option to dock it, like on the top bar or the side.

Docked here would be nice.

That' already possible.

that floating toolbar placement is just the dumbest, and to enable it by default is even worse.

Thanks, @jane-e . I may need that - there weren't many keys left that I don't already use 😉

A second option if you forget a shortcut and for the less important ones is to click the button at the bottom of the Layers panel:

Just as a general comment, I had several minor issues with 24.5, on both my working machines. Sticky drag, inactive and greyed out adjustment layers in the panel (which is bad enough as it is now), and some small lags and delays here and there.

So I nuked it, uninstalled and wiped all preference files and folders, reinstalled, and took twenty minutes to set it all up again with fresh preferences.

That's what it took, I'm happy to say. Everything is now back to normal and working as it should.

Stll, this has to be the most problematic release I've seen so far.

Huh. The inaccessible adjustment layer icons is back. Mostly when sending an image from Lightroom (although that can be coincidence).

At this point, enough is enough. I'm killing the whole panel. I can't have this.

So now I've set up keyboard shortcuts for the adjustment layers I use the most. I haven't done this before because I've been bugged by the extra and unnecessary confirmation dialog, but I suppose hitting Enter won't kill me. With luck, I have enough F-keys remaining that I can set it up as actions.

The inaccessible adjustment layer icons is back

I haven't hit that one yet @D Fosse, although I've edited quite a few from Lightroom today. I do dislike the new tiny icons in that adjustment panel though.

1. Turn it off using Window > Contextual Task Bar

2. What is 'not good enough' . You will need to show some examples, I would suggest in a separate thread, where it has issues. There is never though going to be a single press feature that works on every image.

3. White blocks when masking - sounds like a GPU issue. Try Preferences > Technology Previews and Deactivate Native Canvas, press OK and close and restart Photoshop. If that makes a difference, then update your GPU driver and then reactivate.

@Shalendra29402647jjfv

In addition to turning off the Contextual Task Bar, you can also put it where you want it, then pin it using the ellipses menu on the far right.
