Another up-date; another thing not working properly

It also used to be case that presets had to be saved in a non-default location for the migration assistant to pick them up:

Hi @Phil Shaw it is and you might now have caught the statement - have you saved your actions or just migrated? If your PS reset for any reason, any custom (not saved) presets will disappear and go back to defaults.

Yeah, I did that already when I first downloaded Photoshop 2024.  You obviously didn't read what I said above.  This has happened latter.  The programme is obviously not fully stable.

@Phil Shaw You have to migrate your actions and presets into the new version.

If you did not save your custom actions, they wont migrate. This isn't new with this version.
