Anybody know what this is, on macOS Catalina Finder windows?

Does anybody recognize this drop-down "flap" on the bottom of macOS Finder windows, in Catalina? Could be from Adobe, Apple, or an unknown 3rd party app. It suddenly began appearing, but from where? I know not. Thanks in advance.

Problem SOLVED.

A user on Apple's Discussion.apple.com site advised me that this "flap" is a feature of Default Folder X.
