Anyone else experience clipboard issues since recent update(s)?

After updating Adobe products a few months ago, I am starting to notice constantly that when I copy an image (from within Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) that it does not always copy to the clipboard?

For example, a flattened image in Photoshop, I mask an area and hit CTRL-C then go to new Photoshop file and try to paste but nothing is there.  Even if I choose Edit from drop down menu, paste is grayed out.  Sometimes I have to repeat this process 2-3x before the clip board recognizes data.

I can highlight and copy vector objects within Illustrator... go to Photoshop to paste and... nothing on clipboard. Again have to repeatedly try to copy and then paste before it finally works. I've tried using keyboard shortcuts and using drop down menu selection to copy and paste. Keep having same issue.

I've also noticed since recent updates, especially with Illustrator vector objects, that when it does work pasting into Photoshop - it lags and hangs a considerable time compared to what I was use to a few months ago.  Like 5-10 secs and then dialog box in Photoshop pops up to ask how to place clipboard objects.

But it's a pain for me to have to copy...copy...copy...copy, oh finally can paste with the clipboard in Adobe products now.
