Are Photoshop tutorials made for MAC users?

Question

I am a beginner at Photoshop and so I started watching the beginner's tutorial. I have a desktop computer using Windows 10. I followed every step in the tutorial using a separate window. I got the impression that the instructions did not correspond to what was on my screen. For example, when I pressed "Swatches", I did not see any swatches, even though the tutorial showed the swatches. There were other discrepancies, all of which frustrated me. Are there tutorials specifically made for Windows 10 users?

You are watching older tutorials, and things change with newer versions. Here is how swatches work now:https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/choosing-colors-color-swatches-panels.html To show "legacy swatches" (which is what the old tutorial shows), open the Swatches panel menu and select Legacy Swatches.
