Question

Are "sky replacement" images free to use, royalty-free, or copyright managed?

I used sky replacement on a design for a client. It looks great, but do I have to purchase the images to use them in a nationwide campaign? Adobe please give an authoritative answer on this question. If I don't know the rights situation I can't use this exciting new feature at all.

Most curated content that comes with the apps has an unlimited license except e.g. for images used in tutorials, but as was already pointed out, you have to get in touch with the legal team to get a definitive answer.

Adobe will not give a definitive answer on here as this is a user to user forum.

If you are this concerned about copyrights - you can always upload your own images to use for sky replacement and avoid the preset samples.

Thanks Kevin. Yes that's my current workaround. Right, Adobe won't answer here in the forum, but there also is no guidance on their help and support pages that I could find. Thanks again for your answer.
