arrows in figure created in Photoshop don't show up in saved file

I made a figure in Photoshop and the arrows I added into the figure don't show up on the saved file. I am using the line tool to make the arrows and notice they are not showing up as a Layer and suspect this is the problem. How do I fix this?

May be you draw a path. Can you see it in the Paths panel?

Hi there,

 

Sorry that Photoshop is not showing your Line tool as a Layer in the saved working document.

 

Which version of Photoshop are you using and what is your operating system?

 

Are you creating the Arrow using the Line tool on a blank Photoshop document and then saving it? What format are you saving the file and does the problem occurs with every document? Would you mind sharing a screenshot so that we may try replicating the issue?
