Artboard - breaks hotkeys

any time i enter into artboard all of my hotkeys break - why?

also why did you include the artboard tool with the move tool? it makes no sense - but now anytime i press V twice i get the artboard tool and it kills the hotkeys and i have to close and relaunch each time
