Artboard dimension glitch

Hello.

Recently I've begun using artboards in Photoshop and everything was working fine until I started a new project. As soon as I try to make a second artboard a glitch happens where it fills in all the space between the artboards with white. Even when I try to delete the other artboards the excess white stays there. I'm using Photoshop 2023 if that makes any difference.
