Automate crop and straighten problem

Hi - I'm having issue with the automate crop and straighten tool.  It worked fine on my first scan by accurately cropping the 4 images but on all subsequent files it simply creates a copy of the scan and doesn't seem to recognise that there are multiple images.  Thanks
