Automated image comparison?

Can any of the Adobe programs automatically open a PDF or image and determine if it contains a specified graphic element, for example, a specific logo or outlined shape? Then, if it does, save it on one location or, if it doesn't, save it in another? Or flag the file somehow for designer attention if the element is found?

This all seems to be about searching files for text, not specific images or graphics. If I'm missing something, please tell me exactly where to look on that page. Thanks.

I don't think you can do this. The files are embedded into the pdf.
